I-4 Ultimate requires removal of trees that are inside vital construction areas.

The Florida Department of Transportation remains committed to saving as many trees as it can and is investing in new landscaping.

When the project is complete, more than 14,500 trees will be planted; including palms, canopy, flowering, transitional wetland and buffer trees.

I-4 Ultimate is meeting FDOT’s Bold Vision for Florida’s Highway Beautification and creating a signature corridor.
